This time every year I dedicate several hours to analyzing what worked well the last year and what I might like to do a little different in the coming year. It is critical for me to look to the coming year and have a clear vision of where I want my business to go and how I will get there.
One element of this process is evaluating the Brokerage firm where I choose to hang my Real Estate License. You may not know this, but this is one of the costliest parts of being a real estate broker. Each Broker as an independent contractor pays a portion of their commissions to the Firm they choose to work with.
Some brokers choose their brokerage based on fees/commission structure alone. As many of you know I have spent my career with Windermere Real Estate from the start in 2003. Is this choice the least expensive? No, it is not. You may ask why would I pay more and what does it matter to you as the consumer or more specifically someone who chooses to trust me as their Real Estate Advisor.

Marketing and understanding the nuance of managing an equestrian real estate transaction requires an additional skill set and the Equestrian Living branch of Windermere recognizes this. I’ve been thrilled to be a part of the inception & development of this new offering.
Standards of practice
A panel of Windermere Brokers meet on a regular basis to discuss current market conditions and how they affect the industry. As a group they set the standard that Windemere Brokers will be held to when working with the public as well as cooperating brokers and their clients. These standards are often times higher than the industry standards.
